Founded in 1960 by António Martins Oliveira Barros and followed by his two sons Luis Barros and Manuel Barros, AMOB S.A. progressively became the world’s leading manufacturer of metal working technologies.
AMOB is known worldwide for its capacity to provide one of the biggest and specialized range of equipment for tube & pipe bending, section bending and swaging, from the most simple and manual to the most complex and easy to operate CNC solutions made so far covering massive market fields such as: automobile and shipping industry, aeronautics, transport, furniture, construction, energy, chemical industry, goods, Agriculture, Sports, among others.

AMOB has proud history of manufacturing in Portugal and employs over 130 collaborators in the manufacturing sector whilst Manuel Barros and Luis Barros, AMOB’s general directors, are current active partners of the AIMMAP the manufacturer’s organization in PORTUGAL (CECIMO member).
AMOB’s main plant with over 18000m2 covered, was recently renewed and updated with the highest technological means of production including CNC machining centers, CNC lathes, CNC milling machines, sheet metal cutting and bending machinery which guarantees a good standard of fabrication.
AMOB has gradually improved its capabilities and production capacity in order to meet the customer’s requirements and the market demand. It became also all along these years specialized in the production of other machinery such as roll forming lines, hydraulic single and double action deep drawing presses and stone processing machines.
AMOB products are designed in its technical department by high qualified and skilled engineers who can offer a very good ratio quality/price based in innovative solutions.
